Background
By 2026, organizations and nations face a mandate to account for their carbon emissions and achieve net-zero status. However, most are expected to fall short of this goal, necessitating the purchase of carbon credits to offset their footprint. Currently, there’s a significant shortage in certified “Carbon Removal” credits to meet global demand, with only 3% of the market dedicated to this purpose. To reach the ambitious target of removing 10 gigatons (Gt) of carbon annually by 2050, a drastic increase from the current rate of just 0.003 Gt is imperative.
In response to this challenge, our partners have developed a 100% sustainable, eco-friendly solution for producing biofuels and managing carbon removal farms.
This innovative process also yields valuable biochar for soil regeneration programs, supported by a state-of-the-art, real-time, UNFCCC-certified carbon and social impact measurement technology platform.
Opportunity
Our goal is to establish a vertically integrated business model covering biofuel production from organic waste, biochar manufacturing, and carbon credit trading. This circular economy approach, with diversified revenue streams, ensures long-term resilience and profitability. Through a large-scale collaboration project, we aim to develop a sustainable, multi-revenue farming operation integrated with carbon generation and soil regeneration programs.
The operation will produce fertilizers, renewable energy, and biofuels through downstream processing.
